New Friends..... New Memories.

Today was a great day.

We started of our day by meeting some friends at the splash pad.

The girls were making me and Mindy laugh, they were getting there butts wet then sitting down and seeing what there butt prints look like. Some were bunnies, hearts, etc. Silly girls!

After we went home and got in a little nap we headed over to the Roy pool. My sister's stake had rented out the place and fed everyone dinner. We had fun Kari thanks for inviting us.

Funny things!

Okay so just a few funny things that have happened or been said around here.

Today i was driving Tayler & Megan to the dentist in Ogden, well we passed this GETTO park and Megan says "Mom can we go there when we are done?"

I said meg this is kinda a scary, weird neighborhood. She didn't really say anything else after that. Well about 2 minutes later just up the road, Tayler says "mom this is kinda a scary, weird place look those people have their couch on the grass. :) All i could do was laugh.

Then when we were at dentist office, this lady walked in and the receptionist says "hi sandy how are you?" Tayler turns to me and says that's a pretty name huh mom. The lady just smiled at her.Megan getting her teeth cleaned.

Tayler just finished getting her teeth cleaned.

So Wednesday night Megan was upset because she could not find her blanket. We looked EVERYWHERE! So i thought.
Well when i was making breakfast this morning i found it in the..............................................

Yep in the fridge. She must have left it in there when she was getting her late night snack.

Girls just wanna have fun!

Tayler & Megan had their friend Lauren over. They played dress up, popped popcorn and watched a movie on the top bunk. These girls get a long so good and are such great friends, it's too bad they will be going to different schools. Weird since we live just down the street from each other:(

More Water Fun

Monday we went to a friends house to play in the water. We got out the slip n slide the pools & the Popsicle's.

Friday night our neighbors invited us over to watch the fireworks they were lighting off.

We new the shuttle was passing over the sky again so we all watched it pass over, i got a picture this time. not the best picture but you can see it( it's the tiny dot in the middle)

It was a lot bigger & clearer but in the picture it's almost invisible.

It's the first time the shuttle has had 13 people on it.

So funny story while we were out at our neighbors our neighbors next to them were also doing fireworks. They came over and told us they had a few illegal fireworks.( Just to warn us i guess)

They brought out this HUGE box it was seriously the size of a large diaper box this thing was big. They lit it off and we had our own firework show, like at a park. Not so many but there were at least 5 big ones.

SPACE ODYSSEY 2009!

Tonight me and the girls went outside and layed on the trampoline to watch the International space station and space shuttle endeavour.

We went out a little early to make sure we didn't miss it. Well luckily to our surprise daddy got home from playing church ball just in time to join us.

It was really cool they said to just look at the big dipper and you would see it, well at first we didn't know if it was it but then you could tell it was. If you didn't have a chance to watch it tonight i really recommend you take the kiddos out Friday night at 9:42 and see it for yourself. Tayler & Megan thought it was pretty neat!
