Jace loved the slip n slide. Cute little stinker!
So this is a funny story. I bought this kiddie pool for Jace at Dilly Dally's it had a picture of a baby sitting in a pool on the package, well when i opened it up and blew it up this is what it looked like. Me and the kids just laughed so hard. It's more like a Barbie pool:)

Tayler, Megan & Jace are so lucky to have such great cousins to hang out with. We love you Jake & Madi Kay

***MeMoRiAl DaY 2009***

The kids in front of our house by the flag this morning.

Today we went and visited our grandparents graves. The kids love doing this every year.

We don't' know who this pretty grave site belongs to , but my girls ask me to take a picture of them by it every year.

Jace loved all the spin wheels, He would not leave this one alone.

My grandpa died this year so this was our first memorial day visiting his grave site.
This is my grandma's tombstone. She is still alive & well but she already has is ready for when the time comes. Which i thought was a good idea but kinda creepy at the same time:)

I am so thankful that my husband has Memorial day off every year so we can go visit our family members graves who have passed on. Not like we can't do this any day of the year but it is so beautiful on this special day with all the pretty flowers everywhere.

WhAt A bIg BoY!

Well our day started out with two not so happy kids. Jace was not happy because he could not eat and everyone else was. He could not eat past midnight and nothing to drink past ten this morning .
Well juice and water just does not feel him up. He ate dinner the night before and that was about it poor kid! And then there was Tayler who woke up saying i think I'm going to throw up mom, which she did and she still is:(
Well we had to be to Primary's at 11:45. Checked in then waited until they called him in to be observed. Everything was good so they had us put on his p.j.'s and head over to the other waiting room. Well at this point he was so mad and hungry he didn't even really want to play with the toys. We had an hour to waste so we took turns pulling him in the wagon, playing toys and just trying to keep him happy. Well after about an hour the Dr. came in and walked us through what was going to happen. Then the anesthesiologist came in and gave us her run down.
They then gave him some medicine which is supposed to help calm them down so when we had to hand him to them he wouldn't freak out. I don't' know how much this calmed him down it seemed to make him more restless, but he did not cry when she took him from us.
Which is my least favorite part:( I think i could have used a dose cause i was the one crying.
Daddy and Jace when we arrived.
Playing happily in the first waiting room

Jace in his cute Jammie's

Not so happy jace, hungry & sleep deprived
Fun in the wagon:)
Well afer the surgery they let one of us in first ,which was of course going to be ME. Dustin kept teasing me saying he was going in first. I could hear Jace screamng as i walked down the hall. But as soon as he saw his mommy he was a little happier. They handed him to me and he drank a bottle ( 1 cup) of apple juice then he wanted more so she gave him one more cup.
Well as you can see he wanted more. But the nurse said NO!( Come on lady he has not eaten since yesterday night and it is now 2:45 the next day) No really if he would have drank anymore he would have thrown up. And then he couldn't have anything for another half an hour.
But as you can see he had death grip on the bottle me and Dustin both tried to take it out of his hand when he would snooze off but as soon as we did he woke right back up.
They watched him for about 45 minutes then we got to take him home:)
He was not to happy for awhile but as soon as we got on the freeway he was out til 7:30 p.m.

The Dr. said it was about an inch or less deep, and they will send the skin out to be biopsied and we will get the results in a couple of days. He has a few stitches and some strips that all should fall out on there own. He is still a little grumpy and does not like me to walk out of the room i thinks he thinks I'm leaving him again.
I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who prayed for my little man. I had so many nice comments on my blog. I really do all of this posting for my own keepsake, and it is so nice to have so many people that care about what is going on with our family. To leave such nice things THANKS!!!
Also to the great Dr. who did such a great job. I am so truly blessed to have such a great husband who holds the priesthood and is able and willing to give a blessing when needed. Thanks babe.

And my wonderful sister who watched Megan and Tayler all day and still has meg.

surgery for my baby:(

When Jace was born i noticed a little dimple like indent on his neck well when i took him to his first checkup with his Dr. i showed the Dr. and he said well there is good news and bad news.

Bad news is that he will have to have surgery to remove it. Good news it might not be until he's like ten, Well he's only 13 months and it's already time.

Jace has what they call Branchial Cleft Sinus Tract:
During the fifth week of fetal development, major head and neck structures are formed. The five pharyngeal arches (bands of tissue) are important structures that are formed. These arches contain primitive connective tissue that becomes cartilage, bone, muscle and blood vessels. Incomplete, failed or persistent embryonic development of these arches results in several anomalies or defects in the neck.
Two common congenital problems which can occur from this abnormal development are branchial cleft sinuses and cysts.
:(:(
So tomorrow we are headed to Primary Children's Hospital to have the surgery. It's a same day surgery so that's a good thing. It's about a forty five minute to an hour surgery. They go in and cut out the dimple(as i call it). I'm not going to lie and say I'm not nervous cause i am. Everyone Say's well you have been through a kid having open heart surgery you can do this.
But anytime you have to be put under it scares me. It might have a little to do with Megan not waking up so well after her surgery, that they had to reverse her medication and she woke up with no medication in her:(
Stay tuned for my little bubbas recovery pic's.
And please keep Jace in your prayers:) Thanks!

Jace 13 months!

So when it was time to leave she said i want some more M& M's so i told her to grab a little handful.....And this was her little handful:)

The girls with the flowers they caught.
So after the wedding on our way home Tayler says
" Dad why was he looking under her dress, what was he looking for". (The guarder) Man the things my little girls say lately:)

Last Saturday we drove up to Dustin's moms house in Paradise, Logan to take her up her mothers day present. While we were there went over to her neighbors house and saw a few animals. The kids loved them.

Grandma found a Dress up costume for the girls, This is meg wearing the hat.

On mothers day we went over to my Aunt Julies house. It was a nice day to be outside.

Jace munching on a roll. He made a huge mess but he sure enjoyed himself
My Aunt has a couple horses. My little sister took jace over to see them. He liked watching them even though it does not look like it in this picture.

What a great Mothers Day. I have three wonderful kids who i love being a mommy too.
The other day i was going to take this green stuff down and put some new stuff up. Well when i climbed up on the stool to take it down
This is what i found.

And this is today. Last year this bird did the same thing so i guess i will be waiting to take this stuff down.
