Day Eighteen

Day Eighteen
For the past three days, you have focused on appreciating what makes you unique. Write about all the things that make you so lovable. Take a moment to appreciate your personal style, talents and charm.
These days get harder and harder. But this has made me really stop and think about what i like about myself which i usually do not do. what makes me so lovable is probably my sense of humor and friendliness.
I love to create things, it doesn't matter what, I just love to turn nothing into something.

Day 17

Write about something you feel grateful for in your life today.
Today i am grateful for friends.
I don't think i could get through a bad day without them.
Friends are always there for you, bringing you a much needed Diet Coke or a tub of ice cream after a ruff day at the dentist:(
So to all my friends ThAnKs fOr BeInG yOu:)

First Field trip & First CrUsH!!!!

Friday was the girls first school field trip, we went to the fire station that's across the street from the school.
It was also backwards shirt day for red ribbon week
"Turn your back on drugs" This is Tayler and her friend Moriah
Makayla, Megan & Helaman
So as we were waiting in line to go into the fire station my girls teacher came over to me and said look how cute that it is, meaning Megan and Helaman holding hands. Which they did the entire remainder of the field trip including the walk back to the school.

It was so funny one of the kids asked if the man in the room next door was real, she said no he's not as she pulled him out to show the kids . But all of us mom's were laughing cause he looked pretty dang real. She left him out the rest of the time we were in that room while we watched a movie, and Jace could not keep his eyes off him.

The entire class in front of the fire truck.

2~My Eyes
3~My hands (look just like my mom's)
4~My legs (we all got them from my dad)
5~My Stretch marks (I've just learned to love them, three very great people caused them.)

Black Island Farms

On Wednesday we were invited to go on a Field trip with our neighborhood friends.
Thanks April & Denise for putting it together:) We started off on a Tractor ride around the farm, which was Jace's favorite part of the entire thing he LoVeS tractors these days.
Tayler & Jed

Me & Jace
Rachel, Kyra & Dre
Jessica, griffin & jorie
They let the kids keep carrots that they grow on there farm.
The kids thought it was neat to see a carrot straight from the ground.

They let the kids pick a pumpkin

We even got to see a pig race.
That's something i never thought i would ever see in my life,
the kids thought it was fun.

It was pretty funny when we left Tayler asked me if there are real witches in our world. That's her new obsession, asking if certain things or people are real in our world. At the farm there were a display of pumpkins and some had ugly bumps all over them and stuff and this lady that worked there told the girls that a witch had kiseed the pumpkins in the night and that's why they are all warty. I thought it was so funny. And of course i tlod her there is no real witches:)

So the other day i was watching the Ellen show and Tayler asked me if Ellen was real in this world. :):)

Day 13,14 & 15 Man i'm behind:)

Day Fifteen
Take the time to focus on yourself. Appreciate and give thanks for your unique personality, skills, and talents.
************************************************************
Day Fourteen

It's been two weeks since you started The Gratitude Challenge.
Write about how The Challenge has changed your perspective thus far.
I think I've always been grateful for all that I have, but have never
expressed it fully. Doing some of the exercises made me think about it
a little bit differently and maybe helped me express it more effectively.
I'm grateful everyday for the people in my life and I certainly value them
more and more. I only hope that I can continue to do some of
these things as a constant reminder of how great my life is.
*********************************************************************************

Day Thirteen

Pick three friends or family members you see regularly.
View their actions and gestures through a positive lens,
assuming their goodness and witnessing their best intentions.

OK, I will.

The other day it started hailing while i was making dinner and Tayler asked if
she could go outside and stand in it. I told her if she wanted to, she did. Crazy girl!
When she came in she said " that hurt mom" lol.

Day Eleven

Try to see the world through the eyes of a child. Think about the things you take for granted on a daily basis, and then express gratitude for everything down to the basic necessities that sustain your current life.
I think there are many things that i take for granted on a daily basis.
Like spending time with my kids, they love to be wherever mommy is and
sometimes i just want alone time. I can't imagine not having them in my life and i am so very grateful to spend time with them every day.
