New Years Eve fun for the kids

Every year we go to my sisters house on new years eve for a game night.

The adults usually play games and the kids play the Wii or whatever so i wanted to do something new & fun for the kids.

You make little clocks for each hour and, put them on a paper sack, then fill it with fun things for the kids to do for each hour. You can start as early or as late as you want, i started at 8p.m. 8p.m. Play dough
9p.m. Notepad & Fun trace thing.( i totally remember these tracing things from when i was little)
10p.m. Coloring book & crayons. Yes those are crayons:)

11p.m. Glow sticks

And midnight noise makers. Have them open them up a few minutes early just in time to celebrate the new year. (Then you don't have to listen to them all night)

I found all of these things @ Dollar Tree. You can find most things in packs of 4 or more.

Mommy\Daughter date + a little dress up

Last week Dustin took the girls to see Alvin and the chipmunks, so today was my turn.

Well it was a good thing we left a little early cause we got stuck by this train, which did not move once it got in front of us.

We finally had to turn around and go a different way. Well we finally got there still on time.

Got some lunch and headed into the movie.

Other than the rude lady who took our seats in the movie theater and told me to find another seat and deal with it, then the cops coming in and taking some lady out in the middle of the movie, it was a great mommy daughter date:)

Well lately the girls love dressing up Jace, and he loves it too. I guess i shouldn't get worried til he gets a little older right:)

He was cracking us all up cause he liked wearing the wig and would shake his head back and forth when he walked.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Our Christmas eve started out early with a yummy brunch at Kari's.I should have got a picture of all the YUMMY food. Followed by opening gifts.
Jace tearing his open, he was pretty good this year opening his gifts.

Later that night we went to my step dad's family party.

Okay so this is was my step dads white elephant gift...............stay tuned to see what it was.

One of the gifts was a box full of balloons:) Jace loved them.

So the big white elephant gift was a chair that was found on the side of the road. It stunk SOOOOOO bad. But it was hilarious to see him open it up.

My hot gift was a Jock strap lol.

After that party we came home and opened our p.j.'s and put out Santa's cookies & milk and went to bed.

The girls asked for a Wii for Christmas, and that's what Santa brought them.

They love it!!

So my son fell asleep like this NAKED, good thing i had to wake him up to leave to a party so there was no pee or anything else.

What a fun Christmas we had. I love being with family & friends and can't wait for the next get together.

Gift exchange

Megan & Tayler got to go to the dollar store and pick out one gift for each other to open on Christmas eve. Tayler got Megan these cute princess finger nails.
Megan got Tayler this Princess wallet. They had fun picking them out, wrapping them, and waiting days to open.
