First official day

Today was tayler & Megan's first day of kindergarten. Last Monday they went to meet the teacher and they stayed there for a couple hours, then later in the week they had testing with their teacher. They were so excited this morning they kept asking "how much longer mom" well when it was finally time they were so happy to go to school so i drove them there then walked them in to their class and gave hugs & kisses and off i went. They did so good :)

This is only the 4Th year this school has been open, it's so nice inside all cute and decorated with fun learning things, the girls love it.Standing outside of there classroom

The girls had a fun day, they told me about all the fun things they did in class and how funny there school bus driver was today.

Tonight we went over to my mom's house for dinner. The kids had fun playing soccer and playing on the swing set and roasting marshmallows. Jace loves the water fall and gets in every time. This kid loves water:)

N.I.C.U. GRADUATE REUNION!

Every year the McKay Dee hospital n.i.c.u. has a reunion for all the graduates.

Every year it's been at the hospital outside with bounce houses, clowns, food & fun, but this year it was at the North shore aquatic center. The girls had a blast!

When we got there we first ate some yummy dinner, then headed to the pool to play.
I had to post this funny picture of meg shoving this piece of meat in her mouth. This girl always sneaks the meat packets out of the fridge and into her room and that's where i find the evidence.

This was our favorite part, tayler thought that it was so cool that the water pulled her around and around in a circle. She just layed on her back and floated.

The girls were bummed that they couldn't go down the slide, kinda weird that they were not big enough even to go on our laps. At the Roy pool they can ride down by themselves or on my lap.

They always do a big raffle with some great gifts. This year i won two free guest passes to the

i rock in Ogden. I used to be a volunteer in the n.i.c.u. until life got a little crazy. I loved visiting with the parents and there baby's in there and loved getting to know them, it was sad to not see them all make it home to their families. I am so thankful to all the Dr's & staff for making our stay for 4 weeks as good as it was. And taking such great care of Tayler & Megan.

Flash back Friday!

These picture are of me and my siblings. I have so many fun memories of us doing such fun stuff. I hope that when my kids are older they will be as close with each other as me and my siblings are.

First Day Of Kidergarten!

Today was Tayler & Megan's first day of school. They picked out what they wanted to wear the night before and they chose to wear there pink cowgirl boots with there new outfits:)

We started of our morning by eating breakfast then getting ready for school.

Dustin took the day off so he could go with me to meet the teachers, they don't have a back to school night they just do it the first day. The girls were so excited, they have been waiting for this day forever it feels like. I do think that most of their excitement was that they got to ride the bus home. Although we found out today that we have to take them to school then they will ride the bus home, kinda lame but at least they get a ride home. They only bus the a.m. kindergarten both ways cause they have some handicap children that ride those buses.

We went in to meet the teachers then we all had a quick meeting with the principal & PTA then it was time to leave them. I have to say i did better than i thought, i didn't even cry:)

They gave the kids these cute hats to color and wear with the # of there school bus.

I can't believe my little girls are in kindergarten. It seems like just yesterday i was in the hospital holding them in the n.i.c.u wondering if they would even make it home....................Okay i didn't cry until now just thinking of that:(

Fun Park City Trip, My celebrity encounter:)

Saturday morning Me and some girl friends headed up to Park city to do some school shopping.

Christa had made these Darling bags for all of us. Full of Coupons, treats along with a bottle of water. Thanks Christa! We were in Claire's being silly taking pictures of us wearing funny things.

We found these sweet glasses and all put a pair on and asked the lady that worked there if she would take our picture she said" you can't take pictures in here" we were trying to be sneaky and take pictures anyway and she came over and said "come on girls i have already told you that you can't take pictures in here and if you do it again I'll have to ask you to leave" Can you imagine us moms getting us kicked out of a store. Thanks rude chick for spoiling our fun!

After all our shopping we ate at a yummy pizza & Pasta place up by the Alpine slide.

This was Jessica's sandwich we were all drooling over. I had Pizza and it was Yummy!

So while we were eating our lunch in walks Nicea from Good Things Utah. The girls were laughing at me cause i was star struck. When she walked passed us i said" hi "(the girls said i was acting like a little kid all giddy) she stopped and said" hi" April said "she is one of your biggest fans Can we get a picture of you with her" she said " Yes, do you have a camera?" I take mine everywhere and glad i had it this day:) Nicea came over to me and we got our picture. She talked to us for awhile, she is super nice.Then her husband took a picture of all of us.

I hate that my eyes are closed:(

I love Good Things Utah, and it was cool to meet one of them.
Nicea told us that she was meeting Reagan in a little bit up there but we left to head home after we ate.

On our way home we pulled up to this kid in the back of this car. Doesn't he look so comfortable:) Thanks for a fun day in park city girls.
