Birthday boy!

So i have to say first what a nerd i am. I stayed up Thursday night way late just so i could get jace's birthday post to be posted on his birthday, which is the 3rd and so i was done with the post at about 12:30 pm so i pushed the publish post button. Well after staying up late to do the darn thing the date posted was still the 2Nd. Oh well it got posted. (I could not do it during the day cause Dustin takes the lap top to work) Well we started off the morning by me and the girls going in to bubbas room and singing happy birthday to him right at 8a.m. the time he was born he thought we were silly. Then we played around for awhile then watched good things Utah and guess who we saw on there:) Jace was except they spelled his name wrong i think they got my name and his name mixed up. Tayler & Megan thought it was neat to see him on t.v. We got jace this Cat dump truck for his birthday he loved it, he loves pushing the buttons and dumping the blocks out of the back.

This was his cute little face when he pushed it around. He is walking pretty good, well a couple steps at a time

The cupcakes i made

I attempted to make a cake today for his first birthday, I thought making a # 1 would not be so hard, man it's hard to frost a cake after it's been cut it's all crumbly. My nephew told me that i should just turn it upside down and have it be a j.

We gave jace a piece instead of the hole cake and it was still a pretty big slice, and he ate the hole thing he even was licking the frosting off his fingers. Jace had a wonderful birthday today we are so lucky to have such great family around. Thanks everyone for the gifts and for hanging out with us all night.

So on a not so happy note:( I went to my friend Christa's house today to take her little boy his birthday present. And as i was standing in her door way i told Megan and Tayler to go get back in the car and so they did but DUMB me left the car running so Megan climbed into the front seat and put the car into drive and hit my friends car. I can't believe how much damage it did from just rolling into her car. Man i was so mad and felt so bad at the same time after i finally left her house i just balled i was so mad at my self but so glad that nobody got hurt cause Tayler could have been standing in front of the car. Or she could have put it in reverse and went in the road and hit an oncoming car. All this while poor Jace was sound asleep in the car what a day to get in your first wreck on your birthday. Sorry again christa thanks for being so nice about it:)
