4th of July 2010

This Year we did the same thing i have done every year i have done since i was little. We started of with the riverdale parade which was fun as always, the weather was perfect.

We then headed up to the carnival and played some games, ate food & rode some rides. Dustin played in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament with some friends so me and the kids went and watched .

We got lunch and took it back to my moms house and ate and then let the kids cool off by running through the sprinklers.

Later that night after everyone got in a good nap we headed to Kari's house for a BBQ, roasted hot dogs & marshmallows.

We then went back to the park and watched the fireworks which were awesome, minus a few of us getting hit by pieces of the fireworks.Shalise & C.j. bought all the kids glow necklaces and bracelets.

After the great firework show we walked back to my mom's and did our own fireworks. The kids love doing this every year.

We had such a wonderful 4Th this year, this is my second favorite holiday.

I am so grateful me & my siblings are so close and that we can always do these things together, i can only hope my kids are this close when they are older.
