Monday the girls had a field trip to the Zoo. I was lucky and got to go help, i was in charge of four kids two of them being my own, Helaman (Megan's boy-friend) and Lindsey.
When we woke up early in the a.m. to it pouring outside i knew it was going to be a crazy day.
We meet @ the school at 8:30 and headed out at about 9, as we got closer to the zoo it started snowing and when we arrived to the zoo there was plenty of snow on the ground. With all the rain on top of the snow it was just a bunch of slush, but besides the cold & the slush the kids had a blast. The bus ride down.

In the STINKY snake, & turtle exhibit
Notice the wet pants:) Our shoes & socks were soaking wet.
The cool part about all the rain & snow all the the animals that you normally don't see, that are hiding were all out. The kids wanted a picture with the cougar.
Tayler & Megan with our cute little neighbor Garett that just moved. The girls were so sad.
Getting ready to head home.
After we left the Zoo we headed to a park near by to have lunch. It was so cold everyone hurry and ate and we got back in the bus to head home.
I am so grateful that i had the chance to go with the girls on their feild trip. I guess they are still at the age where it's okay for me to be around them and there friends:) We came home changed into warm clothes, had some hot chocolate & everyone including me took a three hour nap.
And a BIG thanks to Grandma Fran for coming down from Logan so early to spend the day with bubba, she spoiled him.

You're a good mom! I felt so bad for Parker when he came home soaking wet from the knees down, but he had a good time:)
What an adventure! One that will make an awesome memory.
That stinks it rained that day! It will probably make it stand out more in the girls minds and make for a better story later on. :) We should get together for another GNO soon. It's been way too long again. :)
