First set of stitches for us.

This morning i was in my room and heard a loud thud and then jace crying really hard. I ran to the family room to see jace with blood running down his face and dripping all over and megan hiding behind the entertainment center, she had pushed him off the coach tayler said. I couldn't tell where it was coming from i told tayler to grab some toilet paper and as i tried to calm him down and see where it was coming from i wiped his brow and the gash was so deep. That was when i kinda panicked a little yelled at the girls to go get dressed and changed jace and threw clothes on myself and headed out.
Jace before we got him cleaned up to leave, It was pretty deep.
Okay so how weird is this so as we were leaving the house jace grabbed a book to take a long with him. So when we were sitting there and he wanted me to read it to him i kinda laughed to see what the title was" Franklin goes to the hospital".
The Dr said he for sure needed stitches, but we had to wait for him to get a break between patients. Tayler & megan said they didn't want to be in there to see him crying when they did the stitches. So when the time came for the torture they went to the waiting room. I almost made megan stay and watch, she did this to him:)
Man i think the worst part was having to lay on top of my son to hold him down while a nurse held his head and the Dr. put the numbing shots yes 4 to be exact right into his incision oh man did he scream i felt so bad. Then it was time to put the stitches in OUCH!!!

They put this silly bandaid over the stitches just so he wouldn't play with them. It only lasted the ride home and then it was off.
Well my little man has a nice black eye tonight.

Yikes...what a crummy day between the stitches and the dentist :( I can't imagine holding him down why they give him shots right above his poor eye!!!!

Poor Jace! It's so hard to see your kids hurting! On a more positive note that is pretty funny he chose that book. Now just to keep him from picking at the stitches, huh? Keep me posted. I'll give you a call this weekend to set up a girls night sometime soon. :)
