Checkup

On Tuesday Megan had a Dr's apt. @ Primary's. We were referred to a different Dr. from Megan's regular doc. Me and meg headed down and met daddy down there, we first had an apt. at 1p.m. for and EKG. which Megan is always such a trooper and does so good while they do it. I remember when she was little and they would have to sedate her. Well this time she got to lay there and watch" Congfu Panda" while they did the EKG. Meg's Tinkerbell room
While we waited for the results.
After the EKG. we were sent for some x-rays, then we headed to the waiting room for her apt. with the Dr. @ 2:20p.m.
This is the coolest waiting room ever. I remember Megan playing in here when she was little too. They have tons of fun things to keep the kiddos occupied, Megan made cards for everyone including the Dr.:)

While waiting for the Dr. to come in Megan gave me a little pose.
So where do i began, Megan does for sure have to have surgery, when we do not know for sure yet??? We go back again on Feb.2 and hope to know more then. The Dr.(Which was SUPER nice) told me and Dustin things about (WPW) this day that we had not known about in the last 5 and a half years she has had this. In this long meeting with the doc. we found out that the hole that they thought was left open in her first heart surgery was closed(not good) which means the way they normally do this surgery will not be the way they do Megan's next surgery. They want to do an MRI and a few other tests to get pictures to see exactly how they will be doing it, they also have a NEW machine coming in that they said they might use after they use it on other patients, i said yes please do:) I don't want her to be the Guinea pig. At least it won't be open heart surgery again but it's a heart, that scary enough.
I know they have to tell you EVERYTHING that can go wrong, but i hate hearing it.
I thought one thing that was kinda funny was they told us if she has another episode as they call it to make her stand on her head, i guess it helps:)
Megan holding her cute dog they gave her, she named her Jessie
I remember seeing this on the news & thought this was pretty neat, some guy carved Santa and the 8 reindeer out of ice outside of primary's so the kids could see it. Well it was still there and meg thought it was pretty cool.

After a long day at the Dr. and Megan was all tuckered out.
Megan mommy & daddy are so lucky to have you in our lives, you are such a strong little girl & we love you so very much.

Megan is such a little trooper. It's probably easier to do all the dr. appt. now that she is older. I love the pic of her posing in the gown...such a cutie.
