BiG FoOt!

Me and the girls went father's day shopping on Thursday. The girls saw these shoes in the shoe isle and had to try the on. It was so funny watching them put there little size 8&9 feet into the size 19 shoe.

Thursday night we had tayler & Megan's preschool graduation. We started off with a yummy BBQ at Christa's then we had a little part by the kids, they sang their ABC's and said their full name and what there favorite part or thing they learned in preschool was. Mrs. April made these cute candy Laue's for the girls they loved them.
Mrs.Christa bought each of the kids one of these little scrapbooks and between the three of us teachers we filled it up with pictures we have all taken.

Friday night i had planned to meet my LONG time friend brandy at Chili's.

We have been friends since 6Th grade. We had not seen each other since high school, we ran into each other about two years ago at the mall and talked for a bit then never even exchanged numbers duh!

Brandy found my blog a while back and we have been talking back and forth for sometime.

We decided to meet for dinner a couple weeks ago and something came up for me on the night we were supposed to go out then the next weekend her poor little guy got sick. So we made plans to meet at the Chili's in Layton at 6pm. Well i got there right at 6 and was sitting there by the door and about 6:15 i was thinking maybe i told her 6:30 so i hung around, the people that worked there kept saying do you want to put your name on the list i kept saying no ill just wait a little longer then 6:40 came and i could not call her cause i left my cell phone at home so i drove to Target and was going to walk around. I decided to call Dustin and see if maybe she had called or text ed my phone to say she couldn't make it. Dustin said ya she just called and was worried about you she said she is sitting at chili's right by the door. I was thinking am i an idiot cause i was also sitting by the door, so he said I'll call her back and tell her your on your way back to chili's so i walked back into Chili's and asked the lady if there was someone sitting down waiting for someone to meet them she said i don't know you can walk around and see. Well as i turned around there she is walking in the door. She said I'm so sorry i have been sitting at Apple bee's we both laughed so hard cause we both just thought we were being stood up:) After we finally got our name on the list and waited about 10-15 minutes we sat down ordered our food and talked, for two hours it was so nice to get caught up with each others life's. We talked about the good ol days, we were inseparable everyone called us the Bobbsey twins we had twin bikes, twin jackets and we dressed the same a lot of the time. Apparently not a lot has changed cause by the look of our outfits that we wore Friday night we still dress the same:) :)Black and white shirts, denim and we both had animal print purses. Brandy i had so much fun we need to do it again soon. Thanks for not standing me up!

Glasses or no glasses?

Today i took megan to the eye doctor to see if she needed glasses. When i took her to her kindergarten checkup she did not do so well. They also told me when she was born 9 weeks early that she might have problems with her eyes.

Well she passed, he said one eye was a bit worse than the other but for now she is fine. Yeah!

She was mad that she didn't get to get glasses. But i told her that they were not that fun i have had to wear glasses or contacts since i was 14 . She really wanted these cute pink glasses she saw. I think she would have liked them for maybe a week:) I wanted to get more pictures, like one of her in her funny 3d glasses but i think the Dr. thought i was a weirdo for taking this one picture:)

After the eye apt. we headed to Toys-r-us it was super why day. If you don't know who super why is like i didn't til awhile ago. It's a cartoon on kbyu it's called Super readers it's really a cute show. There is Alpha Pig, Wonder Red, Super why & Princess Presto.

We colored yes we, i joined in on the fun. They got tattoos, stickers, masks and of course they had to be Princess Presto

Bye Bye Birdy!

Last night me and the girls had a sleep over in the family room. We'll around 5am this morning as we were sleeping peacefully, there was the loudest noise coming from my front door i honestly thought that someone was trying to break in.

I sat there for a second then heard it again tayler & megan were sitting there freaked out of there minds,as was i.

I ran into my room to wake up dustin i yelled dustin someone is at the door he was a little disoriented for a second then jumped up and looked out the girls bedroom window he didn't see anything. So he then went to the front door and opened it very slowly, well when he opened the door i could see the garland that is usually around the top of my door that has the birds nest on it, it was hanging way down and the sign on my door was barely hanging there.

Well as we looked to see if there were any birds left in the nest they were all gone and we found the culprit " the neighbors cat". We don't know if they got away or the cat got to them first. Yesterday i did see a couple of them flying so i hope they just flew away. It was so loud i did hear a scratching noise but did not even think that's what it could have been. I can just picture in my head that dumb cat running and jumping to get the poor birds, this cat has been hanging around my house for awhile now so i should have known. Poor birdies!

Megan's Photo shoot

Megan decided to give herself a photo shoot with my camera. It has been her favorite toy lately, thank goodness for digital cameras:)

I normally just erase the 20-25 pictures taken daily that are usually of

*the t.v. show she is watching

*her brother or sister (blurry)

*the wall

*the floor

* me in the morning (yuck)

So i had to post the fabulous shots meg took of herself.

Paden's Call

My cute cousin got his mission call yesterday, and we were all invited over for a BBQ and to watch him open his call. We all guessed a spot on the map. I made payden pose by the map before everyone got there.

Jace was cracking me up, he met this cute little girl megan and he played with her all night. They kept talking baby talk to each other. I have not heard that since tayler & megan were babies.
