Earth Day

We decided to make earth day shirts. The girls said they didn't wear them long at school, but said everyone liked them lol. I can't believe school is almost over, and if you know my girls they are going to have a hard time because they absolutely love school & there teacher even more.

Ouch!!

Jace got tubes put in this morning. I woke him up @ 6 a.m. to head out, he was so happy this morning all up to the point the nurse came in to take him from me to take him back.

I could here him crying as they walked down the hallway:) it was a way fast procedure, as it was with my girls. But i was dreading him coming out of the anesthesia he screamed for like a half an hour straight, kinda with this weird look in his eyes like he didn't know me. I was happy to see him happy again once he was home in daddy's arms. Well dustin was nice and let me go back to bed for awhile since i was not feeling so good and took the kids on a walk, well this is what happened on there fun walk.
I guess Jace was riding his bike kinda fast and sister jumped off her scooter to look at something and jace ran right into the scooter & it flipped him over, his poor ear:(

My husband thought it would be funny to come home and wake me up telling me he didn't know what was wrong with his ear saying it just started getting blue. I freaked thinking it was from this morning from getting the tubes put in, i said oh my gosh let me call the Dr. he laughed and said I'm kidding he fell and got hurt. ( Not funny he got hurt, but that i thought it was from the Dr.)

Today we headed down to the train station. Jace was cracking us up as we were pulling into the parking lot, hey was laughing this silly kinda creepy giggle & saying choo-choo.
Jace was holding on to daddy's head so tight, but he didn't want to get down.

Then we headed over to Farrs for some ice cream.

I love days like these, being with my kids & hubby doing what they love most...just being kids.

Jace's 2 year check up

So i took Jace to his 2 year check up last week.

He is doing very good, he has been Binky free for going on two weeks:) I cut the tip off and gave it to him and that was it, he said ooooh and threw it didn't go to bed with one that night & has not had one since. It was hard for me i think i just kept putting it off because i felt like he would not be my baby anymore:) Jace is starting to get interested in the toilet he has big boy underwear and loves to wear them, even though they don't stay dry long. I don't know if i want to try that just yet maybe after summer. Jace saying CHEESE
The hand sanitizer above Jace was one of those automatic ones, i think Jace put it on like 10 times lol.
I had prepped myself to have a sad boy after shots but quickly the Dr. informed me no shots today:) I forgot they don't do 2 year shots, so until next year no shots YEAH!!!

Megan's Heart check up

Last week Megan had her heart apt.

Our apt. was clear out in Riverton @ the Primary Children's hospital.

Dustin works out that way and was supposed to meet us there but some big wig boss showed up and he couldn't leave. This was our first time to this Primary children's out there, it was quit a drive but it gave me and Megan some time to talk

She was so funny she was so afraid someone was going to see her underwear, she kept saying" can i put my pants back on mom" lol.

The Dr. was kinda concerned that Megan has still been having w.p.w. episodes and that they are so frequent so she has scheduled an MRI and a procedure where they will put her out and put two Leeds into her heart through her legs and make her heart have an episode (fast heart rhythm) to see just how fast it is beating a minute. She said hopefully with these two procedures they will get pictures and a better idea if they will be able to do the surgery & how. She said they could possibly have to go in and put in a pace maker, but that they will not really now for sure until they look in there.

One of my concerns is that the Dr. said she has never done this kinda surgery on someone so young. But i know all i can do is pray that everything will be okay.

When i found out that Megan's heart Dr. that we have seen since i was 6 months pregnant had sent us to another Dr. and we would not be going to her anymore i was sad, but i found out that the new Dr. we are seeing is a WONDERFUL Dr. that primary has recruited because she is a Dr. who specializes in special heart patients. She is so sweet and is great with Megan. I am so thankful for all the Dr's out there who help our children\family.

The Dr. told Megan no more P.E. at school & no recess(chasing the boys she said) until they figure out whats going on, and no pop. She said no chocolate then changed her mind, meg was happy about that.

After we left the Hospital we headed to IKEA that was my first time and i can say it will not be my last, i could go crazy in that store. Megan thought it was soooooooo big.lol.

Then we headed to Dairy Queen for some lunch & ice cream.

It was so nice to get to spend some alone time with just Megan and me. It is a rare thing, and it was nice & quiet at the same time.

This & That

Today was the girls first day of spring break, the weather was so cold. And tonight it got worse seriously it's April not December:(

Maybe we will go sledding for spring break.

The girls had a easter party at school friday, they made these darling easter bunny baskets and got to have an eater egg hunt.

Saturday was Jace's birthday it started out early with an easter egg hunt

It was so dang cold, but the kids had fun as usual. Dustin took the girls to were there age group was and i took Jace to his age group. Then we headed to mcdonalds for breakfast.

I tried to get a picture of Jace in front of the #2 sign since it was his 2nd birthday but this was as good as it got.

Then we came home and let Jace open his presents

We had a wonderful easter weekend. What a busy weekend it was Jace's birthday, confrence & easter.

My baby is "2" Two years have gone by so dang fast.

I can' t believe it was two years ago that Jace was born, he is the best baby i could have ever asked for. He is always so happy:)

I always said i will have him off his Binky by the time he is 2, well it's been 2 days straight.
