Dear tooth fairy

Tayler lost her first tooth last night, it has been loose for about a week now. We were eating dinner last night and she said her tooth hurt when she would take a bite, so i said let me see and it was all bloody it was so loose. So daddy said let's go get it out, and he did just that.

It didn't take much and it was out all he did was wiggle it once and it was out:)

Family Literacy Night

Last week at the kids school they had a family literacy night. It was pretty cool they had little stations set up in the classrooms and you got to choose two rooms and they were each like 20 minutes. They read a book and had an activity that had to do with each story, then in the gym they had a story teller and a hired Jack Sparrow the kids thought it was pretty neat. When you first got there the kids were given a pirate hat, a ring or necklace & a map.

In the first room the girls choose they were read "The very hungry caterpillar" and they got to make a couple crafts afterwards.

I didn't get a picture in the second room but they were read "Casey at the bat" and sang take me out to the ball game and got to eat popcorn.

This was Jack Sparrow that they had hired & he sounded just like him.

He read a book to everyone and they also had a hired storyteller Rachel Hedman read a book.

At the end if you had your map stamped from every station you received a free book. I thought it was pretty neat for them to do this, they are trying to get parents to keep there kids reading over the summer they said that a lot of kids come back after summer break and have forgotten a lot.

A trip to the Zoo in the snow

Monday the girls had a field trip to the Zoo. I was lucky and got to go help, i was in charge of four kids two of them being my own, Helaman (Megan's boy-friend) and Lindsey.

When we woke up early in the a.m. to it pouring outside i knew it was going to be a crazy day.

We meet @ the school at 8:30 and headed out at about 9, as we got closer to the zoo it started snowing and when we arrived to the zoo there was plenty of snow on the ground. With all the rain on top of the snow it was just a bunch of slush, but besides the cold & the slush the kids had a blast.

The cool part about all the rain & snow all the the animals that you normally don't see, that are hiding were all out. The kids wanted a picture with the cougar.

After we left the Zoo we headed to a park near by to have lunch. It was so cold everyone hurry and ate and we got back in the bus to head home.

I am so grateful that i had the chance to go with the girls on their feild trip. I guess they are still at the age where it's okay for me to be around them and there friends:) We came home changed into warm clothes, had some hot chocolate & everyone including me took a three hour nap.

And a BIG thanks to Grandma Fran for coming down from Logan so early to spend the day with bubba, she spoiled him.

Just another day in Paradise

Last Sunday we went up to grandma & grandpa Dances house up in Logan. The kids love it up there, they love all the animals.

Grandma feed us a yummy roast, and we went for a walk. The girls played dress up with grandma in all her clothes, they sure love their grandma Dance.

Fun with Ellie

We got to watch Ellie the other day. We had so much fun playing with her, we went for walks, played with sidewalk chalk, played in the sand.

Tayler & Megans 6th birthday party

Last Saturday we had Tayler & Megan's birthday party. The girls decided they wanted an Alice in Wonderland party. I thought it would be so easy, well i was wrong no stores sold anything Alice in Wonderland so everything we had was poker-ish or homemade.

I am so thankful my girls have such great friends and examples. All in all the girls had a blast.

End of school fun

Last week the girls started doing some fun things to end the school year.
They started doing some Abc fun, they started with A- bring an apple to school

B-was backwards day, and so on.

Today was J- jersey day

Backwards day. The girls thought it was so funny to wear there close backwards, we even did Tayler's hair backwards.

The girls are having so much fun doing all these fun things, they can't wait til Z day because they get to go to the Zoo. Tayler & Megan love school so much and they are sad that the school year is almost over. I really don't know what they are going to do everyday all day they will miss Mrs. Johns so much, we sure love her.

I am so proud of my girls, and everything they have learned these past 9 months. I love you girls!!!
